Ok, I have a quick question - but first, I just want to say that this thread wasn't created as a 'vent' thread about the rep system - nor was it created as a 'praise' thread for the rep system. I am looking for feedback from our members on some upcoming changes.
So, here goes:
Would YOU like to have the ability to 'disable' reputation on your OWN profile?
Here is what would happen. You would nav over to your UserCP and change the option to 'disable' and it would turn off the comments left in your UserCP and it would also take all of the green boxes away and replace them with ONE dark grey box, which says "This user has disabled reputation".
Members can still comment - and in the end, if you were to ever turn them back on, the comments (and points) would all be there...but with the option disabled, you wouldn't have to view it.
Is this something you guys are interested in?
(For the record, the decision about signed rep comments hasn't been made at this point. We're still trying to decide which direction we'll go, be it turning the option OFF, turning signatures on or allowing members to control it a bit themself. )

I don't know about disabling to me...it would send the wrong message I'm afraid. And with the signed rep points, I don't think that is a very good idea, I mean it would start tons of 'rep wars' and people would be afraid to give them out. But, it would make people responsible for leaving them....
I don't know if it was a discussion about that or not, I apologize if i 'overstepped' :)

I wouldn't use it.....I want to know what others have said about me....I also would like to make it so you "have to" post who that comment is coming from.
I do have a question.....is there a way to look up past Rep's? Mine only shows the last 4-5 can't remember and then they just dissapear.
