overly competitive

My 8 year old son in way too competitive and it makes some kids turn away from him. He cheats or does anything to win. In a way I like his attitude towards wanting to win but at the same time, he is distancing himself from would be friends. Any suggestions on how to handle this ?

Or, the being winner in LIFE is what counts...

To be that, you need to be a good friend, be honest, have integrity, be a good example, practice good ethics.

And show him what "winning at all costs" really costs him...
