I have been trying to locate siblings (sisters)for 22 years. My name was Robert Hughes but was changed through adoption. I have 4 sisters that I'm looking for. They are:
[*]Shirley Hughes Feb.18,1964
[*]Edith Hughes Jan.27,1967
[*]Betty Ann Hughes Aug.8,1974
[*]Margaret Hughes Oct.3,1975
They were all born in Calgary, Alberta. If anyone has any info on them please e-mail me : canadian_white_knight@yahoo.com ThankYou
Hi Robert,
As a sibling you have the right to apply to Post Adoption Registry to apply for and receive non-identifying information about your birthsiblings. Also, put your name on their passive registry, so that if the siblings apply there, then the Government will match you up.
Amazingly, not enough people do this, I would encourage you to do so, if you haven't already.

The one called "Birth Sibling" is the one you need.
Fill it out as best you can, attach what is required, and mail it in.
Good luck,
~Shannon
p.s. did you match up with the person listed at

Hi Shannon yes I did match up. She is my older sister who has been looking as well. I located her and another sister about 20 yrs ago, and have had a relationship with them.
