Ok, so I've been with my girlfriend since junior high and we are now both juniors in college. She was adopted at a very young age and barely knows anything about it because not only were her adopting parents curtained from information, but she was too. All I have is her full name, birth day, and the city she was born in.We both went to try and get some records, but the agency said they would charge $80 just for looking for the records at the hospital and there was no gaurantee that there would be anything there. We are both poor college students and can not afford to do this, but I can see how its breaking her heart everyday not knowing anything so this is my plea, can anyone help me out? My email address is Joncelone@hotmail.com if anyone has any good information.

I'm a Bmom. There are some wonderful Search Angels here who have helped me locate my birthdaughter. I can not bring myself to make contact since she just graduated HS and is getting ready to head off to college...she already has a full plate. Since I am trying to make myself available for her to contact me I have registered just about everyplace possible. I wouldn't suggest paying for information unless you feel it is absolutely neccessary. The Texas Vital Statistics Bureau does charge $30 to register. They will not provide you with any info until the Bmom has also registered...this is the only one I would pay for. If all of this took place in Texas the records may still be sealed. I am waiting for my daughter to turn 21 before I petition the court to open the records. Keep posting, ask for help from a Search Angel. Good Luck and have faith that y'all will find her!! :grouphug:
