:grouphug:Well, this is my first post. I am gettin real sad here... It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. My adoption was a closed adoption, but here is what I know:born 6/4/86 at lee memorial hospital in Fort myers, Fla. my birth mom's name is Karen Kooli ( not aware if that is spelled right... or if it is maiden) My father's name was James Stevenson. My mother had me at 34... and enjoyed the wilderness and ceramics. She gave birth to a son and a daughter from a previous marriage. (son now 36, daughter now 30 ) If anyone has any advice... please contact me... If you guys are out there... I'm waiting.:grr:

Hey, you do know some good information so far. I was also born at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft Myers, small world huh? LOL. Anyway, something that helped me out was contacting the hospital to get my birth records. Google the hospital and it should pull up their site, look for something about medical records, you can download the "permission" form, send that in and they will send you all of your birth records. In that it should have bmom's name at the time of your birth, address she lived at when u were born, and it might have bdad's name. It's a start, then the "needle" seems to get bigger.
