Hi, I took the plunge and volunteered to be the new moderator for this forum. So I thought I would introduce myself.
We are in the process of international adoption from China. My hubby is AGR (active duty through the Army Reserve).
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you! :) Feel free to PM or IM me anytime.
Hello. My DH is a Marine currently deployed. We're adopting from Vietnam when he returns. Thanks for moderating for us! :)

Wow...the things people can find on the internet! I'm new at this posting thing, so bear with me....
My other half is a US Seabee and we are stationed at NBVC Port Hueneme, CA -
I was adopted by my parents 27 years ago, AND in less than 48 hours, my dh and I will be standing in front of a judge to finalize his stepparent adoption of my daughter - OUR daughter! It is so exciting and we have been waiting for it to go through for nearly a year, mainly because the last deployment slowed down the process!
Not only all of that...but I am a fairly "new" military wife as we started the adoption right after we married (2 years ago), and I just survived my first deployment EVER!!! We met 4 years ago when dh just came back on "shore duty" (my little one was 3 months old) and we have been together ever since! It is an entirely different world being a military wife!!!!
