All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL

Hi all,Just wanted to warn everyone that visits or plans on visiting AllChildren's Hospital in St. Pete in the near future that they havelittle if any security in the parking lots.I took my 2 yr old foster son for a 24 hr EEG on Monday, we weredischarged at 8:00 AM Tuesday. When we walked out to the parking lotour new min-van had been stolen.The have no security cameras, only a guy driving around the lotsevery 30 mins or so. On average it only takes 15 - 30 seconds tosteal a car. Of course All Children's has not apologized and won'taccept any responsibilty.You'd think in this day and age when people are robbed, car jacked,raped and murdered in parking lots they'd know better. There is only1 way in and out of the parking lot, had they had a security gaurdat the entrance/exit (which incidently they have in the mornings)this could have been avoided.Shame on them! If it isn't hard enough dealing with a child who'ssick and been tethered to a computer for close to 24 hours only towalk out and have your car stolen. UGHHH!As far as the individual(s) who stole our car. Karma will catch upto them. They saw the two baby seats in the back of the van andchose to steal the car anyway.The detective assigned to my case told me this morning that he peronally has been involved in over 100 cars that have been stolen from All Children's Hospital. It's been over 48 hours, our car is still missing, and I've yet to get an apology from All Children's Hospital.They need to improve their security.. no if's, and's or butt's!If you are willing please send an email to the following people expressing your concerns.
