looking for a sister

I'm looking for a sister that I never new I had. My mother passed away in March of 2004. My aunt told me that my mother had a little girl in 1-11-1971. Her birth name was Lana Renee. My mothers name was Veda Jo greene Crouse and 28 years old at the time. Her birthdate is 8-28-1943. If anyone out there that can help me get started in finding my sister please help me with the information on where to start what can I do because I don't have a clue.
