Well got word last week our home study is complete. Have to wait 30 days for license and we are set as foster parents. Our main reason for becoming foster parents is to foster to adopt our Niece in foster care in another state. Our home study has been sent to them and once they receive our license they will have their meeting to determine if we get her or the current foster family keeps her. We are of course hoping she comes here with family first. I'm not sure why they would pick non relatives for her being we are fit and stable but we don't have any guarantees. Now we just wait! Hoping ot get a nice Christmas present :)

I hope the wait goes by quickly for you! It would be nice to hear something by Christmas.
We too are in the waiting process of an ICPC. We finish our last Mapp class this Thurs. and then we just sign off on the homestudy.
Our waiting child is in Pa. while we're here in Fla. He has been waiting patienty since Aug. (we moved from Pa. to fla then)---he has tickets to come here for Christmas vacation and we are all praying the paperwork gets done so he can just stay.
So here's to Christmas wishes coming true=)
