I am kinda disappointed. I just found out that there is an age requirement. Rwanda's Ministry of Family and Gender requires adoptive parents to be 35 years of age. I know that there are age waivers for people over 50. Are there waivers for younger adoptive parents? Has anyone heard this or have any info?

As far as I know, there are not. I am one of the families whose dossier was rejected earlier this year and seriously, if it wasn't one thing, they came up with two others. Even the families from France who were seeing adoptions move along fairly well have now come to a screeching halt. Are there other African countries you might be interested in?Holly
