Ukrainian Hand held translators

Has anyone used a hand held Ukrainian translator that they found very useful? We will be adopting an older child and are trying to find a hand held translator to use for the both of us. When we were in Ukraine we ran into a couple on the plane that adopted older children and were using one, but we never thought to get the info on it. The device gave the phoenetic pronounciation of both the Ukrainian/English word. I believe this tool could be very useful.

We have hosted a child twice from Ukraine and are pursuing adoption. Mostly, Ukranian children's first language is Russian, and their second language is Ukranian, so I would buy a Russian/English translator. You can get them from a company called Ectaco. Try Ectaco.com.
