You seriously must live really close to J&D!
That said, I'm in Philly about twice per year visiting the Munchkin. I'm a birthmom in open adoption. Her parents live in/near/around Philly. Don't ask me in relation to what towns because I get confused. LOL

I agree it is a great area. I can look out my back door at the horse pastures, walk to the YMCA or Target. And be in the Philadelphia Art museum in under an hour.
Hi,
I was born and raised in Philly, now live in the 'burbs about 3 miles west of Plymouth Meeting.
DD is 22 months old, her adoption was private, domestic; and we have an open adoption.
We are homestudy approved and waiting for #2!

I had to chime in although I haven't lived in Philly since I was 4! Diane - My brother is responsible for audio-visuals and communications at the Phila. Museum of Art.
I live about 10 mins from Plymouth meeting. We're homestudy-approved & are awaiting a match for an older girl or sib group since November. Patience is not my strong suet so I'm now looking out of state. Will give that until early summer & then will look even farther abroad. How can it be so hard to be matched with an older child or sib group?
Hi There,
I am outside Philly in West Chester, Pa. I am looking into domestic adoption and just wanted to see a good place to start looking on this forum. I was looking at Russian adoption, but think that I may do that 2nd and do domestic first. If anyone knows of any great agencys could you PM me. I just would love to find a place to go to get answers and support.
Thanks so much!
Jackie
