Searching for Grandfather...Cook, Co Illinois Adoption

I am searching for my Grandfather, his name is possibly Walter (McKay). He dated a woman named Margaret in 1940-1941 time frame. They had a child that was put up for adoption. Walter was possibly a cab driver or in the service. The child was adopted out of the Lutheran Children's Home in Cook County, child was born 9-9-42. My sister and I are looking to have the records unsealed. :flowergift: Any info would be greatly appreciated.
