:coffee: Well I am a Seattle area Bithmother and fosterparent. I am 29 (well in 3wks) and I help run a shelter for at risk teens girls in the area. I also work a full time job. Did I mention I am single...No really the girls are great and better than a lame date...wow see I said I needed coffee. I became a birthmother at 16 and in 6 months my baby boy will be a teen...thats a hard one to swallow. I have chosen not to have anymore kids until I find the right partner. My life has been topsy turvey lately...but I always find peace checking in here on the forums...there is just something powerful about being a birhtmother and knowing you are not alone. That the ache is there with others like you...feeling a little alone tonight. If any Birthparents or foster parents want to say hello...I'm always up for chatting.
Big Hugs to Everyone...I think we saw sunshine today...LOL

I don't really know of any at the moment. I did have an amom buddy I met thru another web site, but she moved to Cali. I joined a small group but it was just not my thing the bmoms were all very new and I felt so old and my grief was just mine where as they sort of all clicked on the same things. I am happy to talk to bmoms infact one of my foster girls is a bmom and we still chat. I am no longer a Fosterparent and well you are one of the first to know I am preg I just found out today. Since the post my life changed and I found that guy and we have been trying. Its great!
Please feel free to PM me or get back to me here and tell me more about you as a bmom. I am always open for grabbing coffee err I mean tea at Starbucks and meeting in the middle.
Hugs,
Loveccl/Darcy
