Can anyone help me ?? Here is the story. MY sister and her husband got into foster care and very good at in fact so good that Dept. Of Human Services try to place children with them before anyone else, this is taking place in the state of Oklahoma. They have 2 kids, 1 since he was 3 he is now 9 , the other since he was a couple of months old he is now three. Last year they put these kids in the adoption process and my sister and husband were going to adopt them, Dept of Human Servies had told them that all the parent on both had signed there rights over and not one else wanted them. She was notified yesterday, that the rights of the father of the oldest one had not been taken away because he is incarcarated and that he was due out in a few months and that by law they had to give him a chance to see if he could be a parent to this child. Then they told her the youngest whom has never know any parents except them or family except us,,,That the real mother even tho she signed her rights away and they were taken out of foster care and put in the adoption side, That a judge ordered that The girl was not given the right to really get to know the child,,,she has this child at 14 by her step father, then they took the child into foster care and took her away from her mother and put her in foster care. So here my sister is thinking and being told by DHS that the adoption is going thru fine. Know they are telling her the the the real mother is coming back and that more than likely the courts will give this child back to her. This child crys so much when my sister leaves him with any until he makes his self throw up, is there any one out there that could give me some advice on what could be her rights and how can the courts not take into conderastion what this could do to this child mentaly. Is there any agency that I could contact that might be able to help me to help her with this matter.
