Private vs Public

Hello, I'm new here. Could some one tell me some pros and cons of going through a private place for fostering versus public. When I say private I am referring the Florida Baptist childrens homes.

All of the licensing is done through private agencies now. Florida privitized a few years ago....DCFS (the public agency) no longer does the classes and homestudies

Are all of them equal, or are some better than others?

We got licensed thru Boy's Home here in Jax to foster to adopt our Niece currently in foster care in Idaho.

I can't say about kids and how they work as we just got licensed in November and have no kids because our license was a specific child (Our Niece).

BTW: We are in Idaho and I'm excited! Get to meet with the SW's, the CASA worker, our attorney and see our Niece!!!! :banana: :banana:
