My name is Monica Pettenon-Stark. I was born on November 11, 1963 at South Chicago Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. I was adopted by Patricia (Sullivan) and Larry Pettenon. I am looking for my birthparents named Barbara and Richard Golden. They have four daughters and two sons. They were born in: 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, and 1960. I came along in 1963 and I was the only one my parents gave up for adoption. They said that they wanted a better life for me. I really want to meet my birthparents and siblings. I reside on the south side of Chicago along with my husband, David Paul Stark.

Monica, Was your adoption sealed? I am wondering what kind of vital records on your parents you can get, is why I ask. Do you have a copy of your hospital records? You can get those with your name and your mom's name. Maybe there is something identifying on them, like a SSN number?
You have their names...do you have birthdates, names of sibs, etc? What about military service for your Dad? He could have been the right age for the Korean War. Do you have your gparents names? Send me a PM and maybe I can help. Socrmom3
