Hi,
Hubby and I made the decision this past weekend that we would up our start of the process from Jan 08 to June 07!
We are very excited about this because we have been workin toward this for the last four years--with stablizing finances and saving...
but now that its staring me right in the face... I have no Idea where to start!
We are planning to adopt from the Philippines
Anyone have any experience specifically with that country?
More general though,
How do we start? What agencies out there are non-profit that work with military family situations? Which one would YOU suggest? why??
We are about to PCS in a couple of weeks....but we should be settled in by July...
at this point.. I don't even know what it is I don't know!

Hi. First thing you might want to do is check out the Philipine board here. I don't know how active it is, but if so, you could PM the people there and ask for their experiences with agencies. FYI, all agency discussion must be done via PM. I would start calling agencies and getting info and specifically ask if they have experience working with military families. HTH.
