It has been a while since there have been any post for Long Islanders. Just want to see how everyone is doing and making out with their process. Our daughter is in PGN and we just received DNA results on our son, and it was a MATCH. Just waiting for FC interview to be done so we can get PA. Other than that DH and I are doing well. Just wish our daughter was OUT OF THE PGN. Keep in touch:coffee:
Hi Janet,
My husband and I live in Bellerose (Queens but very close to Nassau County). We are doing domestic infant adoption and are still waiting for our pre-certification from Queens Family Court.
Our attorney said it takes about 3 months. We are a little over 1 month in so far.
We are anxious but we have a lot to keep us busy until we can start looking for a potential BM.
I hope that things are moving quickly for you! Good luck!

husband and I live in Suffolk County. We are doing an international adoption (2 kids -- boy and girl)
Our daughter's case is in the PGN (atty general). Our son's case should be coming out of family court soon and we are waiting for his pre approval to go into the PGN. I am hoping that our daughter should be home soon.
I hope you get your pre certification soon. Good luck to you.
It's been a while since I've been here.
We're adopting from China and just starting our paperchase.
