When I first read this article it really struck me as a bad idea. Anyone heard about this?

Yikes. But then again ...
Since it's already in the can, they must have all survived the process. Sociological studies on TV? Seems a strange thing to me. But I've never seen a reality show, so have no idea how they work. I'm assuming this won't be an "Outward Bound" sort of thing and that the kids will have access to food and medical and that someone is keeping an eye on them. Yes? No?

I am assuming this was like "model UN" process... with the kids building their own government model.
Sure hope they feed and sheltered the kids.
I just read about this in the TV Guide. It was slated for summer, but the network thinks it might be a big enough hit to wait for the Fall. Sounds scary to me.
