This is my first thread on adoption.com. I'm male, 35 yrs. old. I was born at Kaiser Hospital in Portland,Or.

I have been searching for my birth parents for 15 yrs, and TODAY (7-9-07) I got my preadoption birth certificate in the mail from the Oregon Vital Records dept.

I just wanted to make this thread in case my birth Mother visits this website..

I really hope to find her. I am a single Dad now, and It would be great to know my family's medical history. After a life full of questions, I'm hoping this is the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

I am searching for my brother who was given up at birth. Our mother passed away in 1973 when I was five years old, my brother would have been only one and a half. I didn't know of his birth until my grandmother passed away in July of 2009. Since then I've been looking, but its been a long slow journey with no dates, names or specific places to refer to. All I know is that he was born in Sept., Oct., or Nov. of 1971 and given up at birth. My mother was 1/2 Klamath Indian and looked very native, which may or may not be a clue.
