The child should have a lawyer and a Guardian ad Litem. The GAL works hand and hand with a lawyer just for the child.They make sure they get everything they need. Even in cases of adoption. Find out who is GAL is and talk to them. There is no reason to pay for a lawyer when there is a good chance you have a free one. FYI- They are really go lawyers- this is all they work with is foster/adoption cases

Can anyone recommend a good lawyer in the Tampa Bay area that is good with state adoptions?we have a foster son that we may be adopting and i want to make sure that he gets everything he is entitled to in the coming years. :thanks:
