Does anyone know or been involved with a contested adoption that consisted of a jury trial format?
Instead of a single judge making a ruling it was decided by a jury?
Any input is appreciated.
GOD BLESS
While I've never walked a step in your shoes, I've been keeping up with your story, and it breaks my heart. If you can get a jury trial it might not hurt your chances, especially if you can get your daughter to testify. I'd go for it if I were in your situation because you are dealing with every day people who aren't involved with the legal aspects of the situation.
My prayers are with your child and your family.

Hi,
It is me: :cowboy:
I have looked and can't find any. But since these are considered juvenile cases, and therefore generally "closed" I am not sure if it is possible to do much research on them. I did ask my lawyer (yeah - I know - as if he would know anything) - he said he had not heard of any.
I also tried for a jury trial in my case and was denied.
You have already done all the research I can think of - but that is one area of specialty of mine so please let me know if there is any more you would like me to help with.
I've said everything else already... and will continue WITH both of you. I am not letting go of you - ever. You and DW and your daughters are in my heart, in my mind, in my soul...
