Hey cyber friends. I'm pretty frustrated with life right now. I could use some prayers. It's a spiritual battle and the devil will not win, although some days it sure feels like it.

Hay there Ani...Been off line with busy busy times, school starting and all, but I wanted to send a reply tonight... PRAYING for you and the armor of God this weekend and in the days ahead, our fight is not carnal, but mighty through much prayer we can pull down those strongholds... Ephesians 6:10-18.Stand firm and be alert~~~~ Blessings
Ani, it can be so frustraing. the close we get to God, the harder we get hit by the enemy. He just hates it when he knows he is losing the battle.
I am not sure in what way you are being tested but reading JHob can be fulfiling. A bok I just got that comes to mind for you also is called The Bait of Satan, by John Bevere. I haven't read it yet, but saw him on Joyce Meyer's program. Joyces Meyer's website (her name, dot org) is very useful, she has articles and video programs on almost any topic yu need. another minister that helps me when I am having a hard time is Kerry shook. He also has a website that is his name dot com. The harder I am being tested by the enemy the more I immerse myself in the Word.
I will pray for you.
Aw, ((((hugs))) Bajj. Sometimes I find myself feeling overwhelmed by events that are in the works and I end up just counting out the days, hours and minutes until IT (whatever it is) will be done and behind me. For other kinds of issues, like being down and depressed, just praying for God to keep my face and countenance happy, and to soothe my heart so that I can keep on keeping on. Elizabeth Elliot, I think, is the one who talked about those dark times after her first husband was killed and how she just had to 'do the next thing'; not take on ALL that had to be done, but ONLY the very next thing. So your day might start out like this: Sit up, put your feet on the floor. Got that done, so reach for the robe. Great! Got it in my hands. Stand up, then put it on. Slippers.... And yes, I've literally had days like this. God guides us into dark waters at times, and He always carries us through to the other side as well. Be a little child, who clings tighter to their daddy the harder someone tries to pry them away. The more you want to quit, switch that energy into clinging to Christ and the promises God has given us.
