We are not from AZ. Last week I called ask about a 10 year old that they had on their photolisting. Here's the catch. We are in the process of adopting internationaly from Guatemala. It has been a year and a half process allready with no end in sight. but that is another story.
Our homestudy is an international one, and not a domestic one. The gal I talked to on the phone didn't think that would be a problem but she didn't know. She took my name and number and said she would ask the case worker to call me. She was a little befuddled that I did not have a case worker to advocate for placement for us. We used a very trusted agency that is found in each state, but our contract was for the home study only. She told us it would be two to three weeks before we could expect to hear anything from anyone. It has been two now. Do you think they will call based on the information I just stated or do you think I am just wishful thinking because I don't have the domestic home study. It seems terrible that it would take that long just to return a call about our inquiry. The older kids are so much harder to place. It seems that they would be willing to work with you to get things done in a manner that would benifit everyone. Any speculations.
cw prefer that you have a domestic homestudy and ps- mapp training. You know also that children from the photo lists have mild to severe behavioral issues often to well as only children.
