Have you done something that you knew you normally wouldn't do because life is to short and you never know what might happen?
I usually am a huge planner and make plans very far in advance. Once I had the opportunity to a trip that I might not ever be able to do again. The hitch for me was I only about 8 days to get ready for including air fair.
What have you done because you knew you might never have that chance again?
Great question!!
I lived in D.C. for about 8 years, and I moved there sort of unexpectedly to take advantage of a job opportunity. My whole time there was filled with opportunities for things I'd never get to do again---I got to meet Nelson Mandela, attend the premier of Schindler's List w/ the cast and President Clinton, seat former President Ford and Prince Philip at a dinner, loan a dollar to Katherine Graham for a coat check (owner of the Washington Post), body block Mary Kay Ash (MaryKay cosmetics) and Johnny Cash from protesters at an event, and introduce Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas (not my favorite justice, but he's still a Supreme) at an event, stand in the Oval Officee and sit in the President's box at the Kennedy Center for an opera.
I know that sounds braggy, and I don't mean it to---I just look back at that time of my life and still can't believe it happened to me. I tried to take advantage of every single minute I lived there.

We had been talking on the internet (where we met) and talking on the phone for about two months. Then I did something totally unexpected of me....I went to Italy to meet him. That was 7 years ago. He came to the USA to live and get married in 2004...and we tried for the next 3 years to have a family. Now we have our beautiful Isabella.
