Halloween is fast aproaching. My youngest is already wearing one of big brothers old costumes so I thought I would ask - What is your favorite thing about halloween?

I said "other" because we don't "do" Halloween. We focus on Harvest and fall. We usually get pumpkins and this year I have an awesome little "poem" that teaches about Christ's sacrifice as you carve your pumpkin.
Our church in Indiana always had a Harvest Party for the children, with games, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and lots of candy.
I might try to pick up an action hero costume for a Christmas gift.

I voted trick or treating. Even though we don't have kids yet, I love to see the neighborhood kids all dressed up and going door-to-door. I especially love the shy little ones who are just thrilled to get something. The kids who seem greedy are less favorite. And the adult who as trick or treating last year for his baby who's "asleep in the car" was just pathetic! LOL
Can I just say all of the above? I think Halloween is just a fun holiday. I lvoe helping my kids come up with cool and creative costumes, and I love dressing up myself.
This year our church is having a halloween party, compete with "Mystery Church". We will do up several themed rooms, including a Wizard of Oz room. I get to be a flying monkey!
