Hi There!
I am new to this board and just wanted to introduce myself. My husband and I live in Tucson, Arizona. We are currently logged-in to China but with the anticipation of the long wait and knowing that we want to adopt additional children, we are now hoping to pursue adoption from Kyrgystan, in the meantime. We have yet to select our agency and were wondering whether anyone might have advice along this area. I noted that several others had questions on this as well! We so appreciate any advice that you might want to share. You may feel free to either PM or email me at: l.mcgilvray@comcast.net! THANKS! I look forward to following this thread.
Hopeful, this board is very quiet. I post on Russia but there is a Yahoo group. J (little squirt's mom) or I will email you the link, you will get lots of good info from them, including a database with agency contact info and timelines.
J and I used the same agency and we were/are happy - my daughter could not be smarter, cuter, or healthier (gee, do I sound biased?)and as you can see, LS is a stunner, and I'm sure will grow up to be smart and healthy just like Bella.
I have a soft spot for our agency as they started the Kyrg program.
There are now about 5 agencies doing Kyrg, and the timelines seem somewhat different. Most of the five are getting very good reviews.
Check out the Yahoo group, you will get help there.
Feel free to post here again if you have any specific questions I can answer, I do check this board.

HopefulHeart,
I just sent you an email with some info and the yahoo forum link.
Mel's daughter is beautiful and I can't wait for her and Little Squirt to meet.
As Mel said, there are only a few agencies working in Kyrg. The good news is that many have been quite happy with their agency choice.

THANK YOU for your feedback. I did jump on the yahoo board, this morning, and registered. I am just waiting for my "approval to join" to come through. Sounds as though I could get some great info there! Have either of you heard of anyone adopting from Kyrgystan, while still in the waiting process for China? That seems to be the situation that we find ourselves in right now.
This topic was recently discussed on the yahoo board, and it seems there are a few families in a similar situation. I'm not quite sure if they were engaged in both programs simultaneously or switched to another program all together.
