just an update

it's been a while sense I have posted anything here but I thought it was time to update. Our little guy has been with us for 6 weeks and tomorrow is TPR hearing. I am praying all goes smoothly for that but am expecting bio family to put up a fight. Little guy is 25 months old and doing so much better then when he first arrived. He changed so much in the first few weeks and made huge progress with eye contact and interacting with us. Now that has slowed down a bit and I hope we have not stalled. He still has so far to go. He went from refusing any eye contact at all to having some eye contact with me and occasionally with the rest of the family. He never would respond to his name when we called him at first and now he responds about half the time. This week we will be getting all his services set up so I am looking forward to having him evaluated. He's really a sweat little guy and loves to give hugs which is pretty amazing given his lack of interaction with people before he came to us. I guess it's time to change my signature if I can remember how to do it.....
