My favorite adoption books to date are:
Adoption Parenting Creating a Toolbox, Building Connections
by Jean MacLeod and Sheena Macrae
Raising Adopted Children
by Lois Ruskai Melina
Attaching in Adoption
by Deborah D. Gray
I feel they are all worth reading, but especially the first one. For a matter of fact, our agency has or is going to be providing a copy of this book to their new families as required reading and I know several other agencies already require their families read it.
