The real problem comes when it is time to discipline a toddler boy.
Hard to discipline! There are many reasons it is hard to discipline a toddler boy. Natural curiosity develops in that age. Once toddler boy start walking, he will get to the objects he looks at and the problems begin.
Toddlers want to discover and handle the items which were out of reach previously. Toddler boy is hard to discipline because he is able to move finally freely on his own and he is learning to control his hands and learning motor skills.
Am I wrong???
Louies.
Yes, you are wrong.
There is no need to discipline a child for exploring his or her surroundings (girls explore as much as boys). As long as they are not in danger - let them go!
If you are leaving dangerous or not child friendly objects within your son's reach - that is your fault - not his. Childproof your home (get down on your hands and knees and look at things from his perspective).

My question is "why do you think this is a boy issue?" My daughter, now 12, was a "busier" toddler than my boys.
Yes, I think you're wrong.
Exploration is how children learn at this stage, whether they're boys or girls. If you prepare the environment for their safety, you won't need to spend as much time saying "no".
I think also that it is helpful to look as discipline from its root word, discere, which means "to learn". If you focus discipline on teaching rather than punishment, both the parent and the child are happier.
Thank ou very much for your helpful input... Yep I was wrong its about toddlers not just about toddler boy :)
