I did it! i'm surprised but i actually finished my son's scrapbook in time for christmas. I am starting a tradition of giving him a scrapbook each year at Christmas scrapping the pictures for that year. I started off good but then after around 4 pages it went months without me scrapping. I finally got in gear and finished it up. I"m pretty excited about it and can't wait till he sees it.

Wow - you're more ambitious than I am - I do one page per year for my boys - lol.
I started off doing a 2 page spread from bday to bday until they reached school age, now I basically go school year to school year. (I also do a 2 page spread for each vacation, and for Christmas in different books so I'm not too much of a slacker haha). The only time I do complete books is when I am doing them as a gift, and I usually stress out after page 6.
I do have a "goal" for 2008 - I am taking all of our proofs from our wedding (from almost 13 years ago) and I am making a scrapbook - I figured I'd be more inclined to look at a scrapbook I made with my own hands than a bunch of proofs in a book.
Nice job finishing your book!
i keep thinking that i will scrap my wedding pictures from 26 years ago. they were not professionally done and now i'm a little disappointed but i think i could bring some zing to them if i scrapped them but i haven't gotten it together yet. i adopted my son 2 1/2 years ago when he was 5 and he always loved looking at pictures so for 2nd christmas with us i had taken the baby pics that i begged from his previous afamily and ended up getting at least 1 bday pic from each year except one and put them with all the pics since he's been with us and he absolutely loved them. the hardest part is narrowing the pics down. we go out of town a lot and between those pic, sports pics, school field trips and holidays, i always have an overwhelming load of pics but i love them. my oldest daughters are a tad jealous because they can't believe that i'm trying to scrap one book a year for him. i got into this later in their life but they each have at least 3. they are just done differently than his. but hey, i'm still so excited, i didn't think i would be able to finish it. Thanks for the congrats. keep me updated about the wedding album, i could use some ideas and encouragement to get moving on mine
