We have just started doing research for domestic adoption of a child waiting in foster care and ran across the website for Arizona's Children Association.
Has anyone dealt with this agency? The info page says they have been around since 1912.

I am with AASK and based on my experience, I think AASK is better. I've had some experience with both as I was investigating which agency to work with and I felt the professionals at AASK were simply "more professional".
If your goal is adoption, AASK has a fost-adopt program, whereas AZ Children's Association doesn't, but has something roughly comparable. Good luck with your choice!

I am licensed with the Arizona Children's Association and they have been great. My licensing working is really on top of things and is good to work with. Ultimately you work with CPS more than the licensing agency, but it's good to have them in your corner.
They do regular parties and events for the foster children, parent appreciation activities and such. The training was pretty good too, although it focuses a little too much on the ideal and a not enough on the realities of the system.
I would recommend them.
