I can't stay to respond either - I am going to interviewing another Guatemalan nanny and I have to join some fellow Guatemalan adoptive mom's to have a ***** session about how unfair the Guatemalan government is....and the U.S. government is.....and to learn how to even be more self absorbed....adoption is about the adoptive parents - right???

I am curious for your interpretation on that Angela, I read it, re-read it and still don't know what my take is on it. At first it made me defensive, but as she goes on in her post she talks of how Adoption.com is the best at moderating fairly, so to speak. So then I didn't feel as defensive...so I don't know???

Well. I threw my 2 cents into the ring... she hasn't chewed me up yet... I especially loved the "if I'd said all bmoms are wonderful no one would have disputed the generalization!" (RIGHT! Hasn't she read anything on these forume???)

I received Janny's reported post, email and I get it, however that specific post isn't a violation of our rules. Pomme has a right to respond to a post, just as others have a right to respond to hers.
I think Pomme is unyielding in her views and that isn't something anyone has any control over. If Janny feels it's unfair or unreasonable that Pomme hasn't apologized or isn't accepting of the support given, that's fine...but I can't control that aspect of things.
I think pot stirrers get what they want and move on pretty quick if no one takes the bait. So I hope the thread doesn't get anymore replies. I have a feeling it'll be closed very soon...as I do think it's reached it's purpose?

Now Mommy, that's not very a very nice name even if JPDakota does drive you up the wall (or am I projecting my feelings onto you?) She's pretty good at fanning the flames herself... from her earlier post, she apparently agrees that all bmoms are worthless!
I really think things would have calmed down too if several posters hadn't ignored the newer posts and gone back to the first disasterous post.
