Hi,
I am 16 years old and have always wanted children. Although i am too young to adopt at the moment i just had a few questions about single parent adoption.
I wanted to know the maximum number of children a single adoptive parent can have.
Also i suffer with mild Autism which affects my social skills. I also suffer with anxiety and i am on medication.
Will this cause problems when i want to apply for adoption?
Thanks

Sorry you haven't gotten any responses - it's happened to me. I'd say you may want to start volunteering with children (if allowed under 18) & just get involved any way possible. The medical conditions & medications depend on your state, agency, Dr. ect. In TX you need a letter from your Dr. stating you are able to foster (health wise)
It's great your thinking about these things now - you'll want to finish high school/college & become active in childrens causes. It was in college I spent time volunteering & seeing the need for volunteers in a variety of agencies (special olympics, CPS, hospitals ect) I would think you could do administrative tasks if your not allowed to interact with children before your 18 years old.
Good luck!!!
