Is it true that something like 80-90% of AA/Bi-racial infants being adopted are being adopted by people outside the U.S.? I read that a couple of different places and thought that just couldn't be right. Is there a demand for adoptive families for these precious infants just because of their race?
I was looking into foster-adopt and international adoption, but then I started reading about AA/Bi-racial adoption in the U.S.
What are the wait times and fees involved when going this route? Does it still come out to be something like $20-25,000 since it is a private domestic adoption?
Do you use an agency, a facilitator, an attorney? I wouldn't even know where to begin. Well, now another path to my future children that I must research!
Sorry, I just posted this thread and then saw that there is a whole lot of information already posted that I hadn't read! :camo:
