I usually pick up a dozen or so boxes every year and freezing the thin mint works especially well...I love still being able to have one in July (if they last that long)
For you Thin Mint lovers...try them with smooth peanut butter! YUM-O! Friends did not believe me until they tried it themselves and now they are hooked too! Yup just open up that jar and scoop some up with your cookie and ENJOY!
Roni - got your PM, thanks for the link!
your welcome Ms. Hoot. It's good to keep it in the same community :prop: This year I'm getting extra thin mints to freeze. That way come June and July I can use them to bribe people!!!! Peanut butter on thin mints? Sounds good! What else do you do with the cookies??? Crick - tell DH to buy a couple of cases!!! You know some of the money goes to that specific troop and some troops use part of the money for community projects which means your community will be getting beautified. Or they are just going to have a Build a Bear party! LOL!!!

LEMON COOLERS and it is not on your list..make a new poll, thanks!
I have 2 and you can only vote for 1!!!!!!
Thin mints are a must have. I usually buy 2 boxes of Thin mints and 1 box goes right in the freezer, have some during the summer and then I will crush some up and put it with ice cream.
1 box stays out and I just usually munch on them or bring them in for me and my cubby mate since we both love them.
Mmmmm, freezer thin mints are too delicious for words.I like to make a hot chocolate or a coffee, add some Mint Bailey's, and have a cold cookie. It's all chocolate and minty, and the hot and cold contrast is yummy too. Or crushed over ice cream like L said! Yummy AGAIN!!Or just eating them straight.Or I put a glass in the freezer, wait till it gets all frosty, then pour a nice glass of milk and hunker down with a cozy blanket and a good movie (and a boy if you can get it!)Let's face it, I can come up with different ways to eat GC cookies all day long...

Thin Mints are the best and I already have gotten at least one box and I am munching on some now. :D I also bought a box of Peanut Butter Patties for hubby, but I ate most of them too. They are my second favorite. I looked at the cookie sheet and it was sad to see that they discontinued most of the ones that I remember selling. The two that have been there since I was a Brownie were Thin Mints and the Peanut Butter Sandwiches. I remember when they came out with the Peanut Butter Patties and the Caramel deLites. I will say for all those thin Mint lover's Keebler has some that taste just like them, they are called Grasshoppers.
Hey sniffles - are they delivering the cookies right when you order again this year in your neck of the woods? I think last year was the first time to do that and it was a huge hit. I wish we could do that. MicheleB - are you talking about the Lemon Chalet Cremes? They gave us a box for our Cookie Training Class for the girls and parents. The cookie part has a light lemon flavor and the creme part is more lemony. They were pretty good and we thought they would be great with a cup of hot tea. I'm sticking with my thin mints, samoas and tagalongs. I guess those are my comfort cookies

My mom was a Thin Mint addict, so we used to get those and Trefoils all the time. So it used to be Thin Mints until I tried SAMOAS!! How did I grow up not having them!! SO they are my fave, Thin Mints a close second. DH LOVES Tagalongs. We already ordered our faves and will buy them when they sell at the supermarket and my office lobby :)
