Anyone do a change of country for their I171H instead of submitting a new I600A when doing a concurrent adoption. Just curious if they make you redo fingerprints at the immigration office (not talking about the FBI prints from WV) when doing just a change of country I-824. Thanks.

no, you do not redo fingerprints..just fill out the form and send it with your check and an updated homestudy for kaz.
we submitted the homestudy on monday, got our change of country yesterday..4 days...i've heard it usually just takes just a few weeks.

It actually took us almost 6 weeks to get our change of country, but were told it should have only been a couple of weeks, but was still quicker than redoing a new one.
You only have to redo fingerprints when they expire.
