Lithuanian Adoptions Fifth Annual Gathering in the US: Saturday, August 9, 2008. Come join us on the Tomalonis Farm in Mill Hall PA for our Fifth Annual Picnic! Activities include swimming, games, crafts and more! Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer, beverage, side dish or dessert to share. Overnight accomodations are available at nearby hotels and local campgrounds:
The Comfort Inn of Lamar, Pennsylvania (570) 726-4901 (It's about 2 1/4 miles from the picnic) We have again secured an Adoption Picnic group rates , this year at $70 (yeah, less than last year!!) + 9% tax per night last. Continental breakfast included. Outdoor pool and restaurant on site. Each room has 2 full sized beds. Please request the "Adoption Picnic Rate".

We are looking for a kind hearted soul to organize a craft area for the children and another kind hearted soul to teach the little ones some Lithuanian songs/dances. If you would like to help in these areas, please contact Gina rmprhp@yahoo.com
The Tomalonis' will open their pool for us Friday evening for a casual gathering for travelers. We will also hold an informal LAPAS meeting in the early evening on the Picnic day. And, please also plan to join us for "clean up" and breakfast on Sunday.
