Hey everyone...Joshie has the flu and vomited milk mixed with his baby food, so it all came up as orangey stuff and we have beige carpet. I tried using Resolve and a stiff brush and really hot water but it won't come out.
Are there any miracle working cleaners out there to help me get this stain out?
Thanks and blessings, Michelle
Nature's Miracle is great at removing stains. I've seen it at the grocery store and most pet stores carry it too. It is an enzyme cleaner that I've used with pet "accidents" but it also works well on other stains and is the spot remover my carpet cleaners recommend between professional cleaning. As with all cleaners try it on a teeny area to be sure it is color "safe" for our carpet.

If you have a carpet cleaning machine, there's some WOOLITE brand cleaning solution w/ OXI-CLEAN in it that's pretty good. If you don't have a carpet cleaning machine, I highly recommend getting one. Best $89 I have ever spent.
Believe me, the spills only get worse. :)
Eve had the flu a month ago and my biege carpet feels your pain. I got creative and mixed oxi clean with some Oxi pet stain remover. It got milk/formula/prunes out of our carpet. Good luck!
Someone on another site mentioned OxyClean too...I will have to get some...and look at the pet stain removers too. Maybe I should mix them all together, LOL!
Thanks so much everyone and blessings, Michelle
I use Folex for all my carpet stains. I have a very light all most white cream colored carpet and my cat decided to yack food up all over it a couple of times. Food dye is the hardest to get out! I tried Resolve then my steam cleaner with special cleaner and neither worked.
I found this stuff at Target and thought what the heck I have nothing to lose except a little bit of $$. It isn't terribly expensive and looks really plain big white squirt bottle with purple lettering......but it works great.
I have even used it on clothes when I have had red dye from something bleed spots onto other clothes and they have come out.
Easy to use......just squirt it on the spot, rub it in with your fingers and blot it.
