I am now indulging in a very small celebration which involves reclaiming my dining room and a part of the lower drawer of my desk.
The dossier is on it's way to our agency's head office and then on it's way to the agency rep in Bogota hopefully next week to be translated. It is a wonderful feeling.
I am planning to eat something delicious and chocolate and then go to bed promptly before 10:30, a record in our home! What a complete victory!
Thank you for cheering me on ladies!
Megan - whose third dossier is on it's way to Colombia
Congratulations to you! Fedex(Im sure you know by now) lets you track your packages, so you should know when it gets to your agency and then down to SAmerica.

Congratulations! Its a small victory, but a victory nonetheless. Hardest part for me was that was the point when I was no longer in control! :)
Congratulations!! :D Great feeling, isn't it?
I look forward to hearing how things are moving along for you!
YIPPEE!!!! I hope your agency can turn it all around quickly, because somewhere in Colombia -- as we speak -- their is a groujp of siblings waiting for you :)
Congratulations!

Yay Megan! That's great news! Getting that dossier sent out is such a load off! Now hopefully you can sit back and relax for a while. Can't wait to hear more about your journey as things progress. Good luck!
As of Tuesday our dossier was being sent DHL (I think) to Colombia.
I'm celebrating tonight by scrapbooking all evening until way too late. I'm working on our son's Colombian adoption trip album. (Fall 2006) I've got a lot of catching up to do before we travel again...I'd better be scrapbooking every evening from here on out!
It has been my practice to celebrate every step of the journey. The kids (ages 3 and almost 2) thought it was so great to dance around the house and sing a silly song about paperwork flying to Colombia when we found out it was on its way.
We'll be celebrating all weekend!
Megan
I'm so excited for you Megan! It is a big step to have done. I don't get much time to write but will be following your progress. You could have a referral by the end of the year!!! Wow!
We are doing great and feel blessed everyday for our family. And just last night a couple from our church called and they have decided to also adopt a sibling group from Colombia and had tons of questions that I was happy to answer.
Thinking and praying for you.
