Hi everyone! I just wanted to update you and let you know that we finally have a travel date! :airplane: Our travel plans got delayed because basically all the courts and everything in Colombia shut down for "Santa Semana" or Holy Week leading up to Easter, so now it looks like we will be flying in to Bogota next Friday night, March 28th. We'll then have Sat & Sun to unpack, settle in, and adjust to the altitude change, and then first thing Monday morning we'll pick Anna up from CRAN. I have a packing list that's 5 pages long, so hopefully I can make everything fit!! We'll keep posting updates to our blog while we're there. Hopefully since all of the Easter caziness will be over, maybe our stay will be shorter! I can't wait to get her HOME!
I am certain that you will have a wonderful time! I remember that leading up to our first adoption I packed and repacked our suitcases at least 12 times. It wasn't so that I could make it all fit it in the suitcase, it was so that I could take out all the cute stuff one more time and look at it and imagine our daughter wearing it all. Oh, so much fun!
Congratulations again! We'll be following along on your blog!

YAY!! Thats great. I think giving yourself a couple of days is a really good plan. You'll have time to get yourselves situated and acclimated before everything gets turned upside down. Go to a nice dinner one of those nights...since it might be a while before you get to enjoy a quiet meal! :) And most importantly...have fun! Its a beautiful country and the people are wonderful so enjoy your time there.
Wonderful news!! Have a fantastic trip...I can't wait to follow along on your blog. :)
We have good friends who are in Bogota now with their son. They got their referral a little before you and picked him up about a week and a half ago. If you are staying at the Halifax, that's where they are.
There's another American couple that arrived the same day as they did, also with a little sweetie from CRAN. If you want, PM me and I can tell you their names, etc.
Best of luck with the trip!
