Hi all, I have a question.
I am mom to one child. im looking into adopting and have a question. What exactly do you have to consider/look into when adopting and wanting to breast feed an infant?
I was not able to breast feed my son for long...he was only 2 weeks old when I had to switch to a bottle due to the fact he was allergic to lanolin cream and the hospital didnt support my breast feeding real well. They gave my newborn sun bottles of glucose somethign or other from a bottle for the first two days of his life instead of bringing him to me when he was hungry. I think he got stuck on and liked the bottle.
:thanks:

Hello,
I have b/fed my adopted son for about 15 months now. Here are two websites that were invaluable to me:
www.asklenore.com
and
The Adoptive Breastfeeding Resource Website - Homepage
The Ask Lenore site will outline for you the different options you have when getting ready to nurse an adopted baby.
Anyways, feel free to ask anything you'd like or PM me if you want. Good luck!
