What are the points I see on the right side of the user name header and how do I get/earn them? And what are they for???

You get points for everytime you post or start a thread. You can buy gifts which you see at the top of the page with them.

Denice, don't we have to buy a Premium membership in order to "buy" gifts with our points? Or has that policy been changed? (It would be soooo cool if we "non-premium" members could buy the gifts with our points!!) :)

OK - so what about the "Donate" link? What is that for? Does that have something to do with the Premium Membership?
