I'm new at researching Colombian adoption so please forgive my ignorance, but what does that mean? Are these the children who were recently matched with PAPs?

This is somewhat confusing with the siblings. We requested up to age 6 and was approved May 07 and we have been home a year. It might depend how many siblings.
This list makes it look like there's a 3 year wait for a referral for the younger children- is this true??

that sounds about right.
Yes, this is true. Most families waiting with ICBF for an infant will wait about 3 years for a child, unless things pick up. Most European families that are getting referrals right now have been waiting about 3 years for a referral.
As far as sibling groups go, these wait times reflect families that are still waiting to be assigned a sib group (2 children) as families requesting 3 + children typically get referrals much faster.
Also remember that the date (AUG 2005, etc) reflects the prospecitive parents approval of application to ICBF. It does not reflect how many applications they have for that month. IN other words, they may only have 1 more application for and infant 0-1 from PAPs that were approved in August 2005 that has not been assigned a child yet. They may also have 200 applications from August of 2005 -- there is no way to know. But, this reflects that there is AT LEAST 1 applcation from Aug. 2005 that has yet to be assigned a child 0-12 months old.
ICBF follows a rather rigid wait list policy -- ie -- you are attended in the order received. However, because of regional differences and time frames, some people from Aug 2005 will get assigned a child anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months before others. This is based on whether or not the adoption committee feels you are the best match for an available child. I know I have explained this before in the forum and that emi (erin) talked about her experience. If you want a more detailed explanation of how this works, look back and find it.

Has this list been updated since August???? I have a friend who wants to adopt a sibling group of 2 and I was wondering on the current wait time.
The only age ranges that have changed as of Sept 22, 2008 were the children 4 years old are now in June of 2005 and Siblings to 6 years of age are in June of 2007.
No other age ranges have changed.
I wonder why my past and current agency say the ICBF wait for an infant is up to 30 months?
If ICBF strictly follows that list (give or take a few months) it seems to be at least 36 months!?! I am already starting to go a little batty with all the any news yet?Ӕ questions.
