but I'm getting paranoid about it. My passenger is *incredibly* active, jumping up and down like crazy. Recently, I've started to worry [esp. when I pee for some reason] that he'll break the water and miscarry. That...that doesn't happen, right?
towards the end of my pregnancy, my daughter used to kick so hard you could see her feet moving my stomach around. i think you are pretty safe as far as that goes.
there are no silly questions...
do you have a prenatal doctor that you can discuss things like this with when they come up?

You're fine! The next thing that happens is that you start to panic when they are NOT so active!
:-)
It won't happen. Your baby is safe to party all he/she wants. Enjoy the movement. Document and journal it. In fact, try to catch a video of the action. I did this with my last one, by videotaping the remote moving on my belly. Too funny!
He will not break your water by dancing around in there, although it sure feels that way. I feel your pain, I'm due in December and this baby is an active one as well so far.
Thanks so much, everybody--I guess I'm just programmed to worry. When I find my next irrational concern, I'll be sure to let you all know. ;)

I have a favorite memory of ds#1 when I was pregnant. He pushed so hard with his foot, we could see it perfectly outlined on my belly. It was so tiny and cute!
No worries. My youngest used to like to move all the way to the left; I mean way over, till my entire belly looked like it was sideways. People would stare at me out in public when she'd do it. I have to say, at 20 years old she still leans WAY to the left!
Susiebook...I just left the worry line and its OK! Like Quantam says next week you'll probably worry when you don't think there is as much movement; I did. I also did the video tape of the moving belly. I actually let my daughters wrap wide paper ribbon around me and tape the movement while the soundtrack from *JAWS* played in the background. I know this will come back to haunt me someday. Enjoy the moment. :prop: Tracy
Tracy,
Your family sounds delightful! Jaws! One of my favorite movies! And, you're right it will haunt you; but you'll get a laugh out of it when it does!

How exciting! Did you get gender news, or are you waiting?
Mine is tomorrow....

No we aren't finding out the sex, which is good since the tech didn't even ask if we wanted to know.
Not to worry I called my passengers the little gymnists. its all normal and I usually felt that way when I peed to.
