We are TTC, I've had 2 miscarriages in the past year. I'm trying not to let my "mommy" beast take over my better judgement.
My husband and I have just been presented with the opportunity to adopt a beautiful 18mo. She is presently cared for by her Grandmother, who is going thru the FC process. The parents have abandonded her. Their rights, if in our favor will be severed in April. The greatest blessing is that we are able to see her multiple times a week and on the weekends.
Is there anyone who has been through a similar situation? Adopted a child in Foster Care? This is a lot and sometimes overwhelming. We understand that this is not a guarantee, but still want to provide her with the love and care we can in the mean time.
Thanks to any readers!

We haven't been in your situation (beyond the ttc forever with no success). I pray to one day have the ability to adopt a child... which is why we're going through the foster care process (with hopes of adopton).
I'm new to the site but have found a TON of women on here who have adopted and so on... check out the foster/adopt forums (not state related). You'll be pleasantly surprised.
I also read/write on preconception.com/diaries. There are a few diary writers there who have experienced mighty difficult ttc periods, if you need support there. There is an adoption portion to that website, but there are no current diary writers there (we will eventually be transfered there, since we gave up ttc late last year).
Hope that helps :)
