I have a few questions...
My husband and I are considering adopting from Rwanda (our neice is adopted from there, my sister lives in Uganda). Anyway- my sister was telling us about some cultural things we'll need to put into our child so she/he doesnt feel alone in our caucasian family.
Do you all who have adopted or are adopting currently from Africa have any tips, advice to make the transition easy and for he/she to adjust well once they are older as well as feeling like they have a "place"?
Here are a few answers for you.
Have you ever seen a work that starts with Rw?
Beliveve me you don't have to put cultural things in that niglets skull. It is an animal, and has its instincts. It will grow up to rob, rape, steal, have no job, and deal drugs from your very own home.
