I'm sure that I've seen threads like this before, but I can't find them. My husband and I adopted a son 6 months ago. We would love to adopt again, but the process is so expensive. We would be interested in knowing of any agencies that can complete the process for under $15,000. Can anyone PM me this information? Thanks so much!
I'm going to post this in another forum as well.

Please help us find an agency that is reliable and affordable!!!! Any hints from other adoptive parents would be great!
Hoping to adopt an African/American Infant!!!
seems like no one is answering but i will give it a try to, please pm me, i need one in alabama or a national one.
thanks!
I think due to the age of the thread, you will likely get more responses if you create your own thread in the General Adoptive Parents forum asking for pm's to this information. People tend to read newer threads more often than old ones.:)

Why the emphasis on Private Messages? If such an agency actually exists, and I'm beginning to doubt it, wouldn't we all want to know about it? Wouldn't a public posting be warranted? I realize we all want to feel like we're getting the inside information, but come on people! If no one has posted it here in over a year and a half, it seems like a pipe-dream to me.
Frankly reading page after page of desperate 'PM me please!' messages began to demoralize me.
Anyhow. If anyone has practical advice on locating an inexpensive agency or knows of one, please post it here, publicly, where we can all stand to benefit.
My apologies if I appear ungrateful or cynical. It's just frustrating to me that there is such a high financial barrier for a public service we all wish to provide.
All the best

We don't allow the discussion of agencies/professionals on the forums - it was in the rules you agreed to when you joined.
That is why people are asking for PM's - they are following the rules :)

I see that now and strongly disagree with the policy.
Yeah, I completely agree. I also think your observation is spot on about the unlikely existence of such an agency. Agencies should cover their expenses and make a reasonable profit. However, all the research I've done on international adoption and domestic infant adoption would suggest that it's more like a black market.
Perhaps discussing ways to obtain grants would be a better use of time since $30k seems to be a good ballpark start for estimating the total cost.
