I wondered when the monkey thing would make it on forum. I was kinda glad that the site was down when it really broke big back on Saturday...
I really really really HATE election years. Man, I thought it was bad last time...I am sure this time it will be awful!
(What I mean is, last night, all we could do is call each other idiots...but now the race and gender card is being played and NO ONE wins then!)

I'm sure after tonight's debate, there will be fun times tomorrow.
I've been surprised honestly at the mostly calm discussions. I remember last time being just unbelievable. I really do think for the most part, it's gone well. I know, I know....still 20 days to go, or rather 30, since it'll take a week plus after the election is over to finish up.
Luckily we'll be able to push the November National Adoption Awareness Month and have some distractions.
Maybe I'm in the minority because I've never heard the term used in an offensive manner. The area I live is very culturally diverse. In fact, I have an Indian (from India) nephew and a CC/AA niece.
If I remember correctly, there are political cartoons from the 19th Century that portray African Americans as monkeys.
